Coach Net has been and still is my roadside assistance provider for quite some time. Have used the twice, both with bad results. First time sending us to a repair facility that had no idea what was going on and then after 2 weeks told us the couldn’t find parts and gave me a day to get our motor home off their property. Coach Net refused to move it under the agreement, wanted to be paid.
Second time, had a blowout, took in excess of an hour to talk to a rep. Oh yes, polite and thorough but a hour? Then they wouldn’t tow us because it was a front tire and our RV has independent front suspension. Then, 24 hrs later a service crew arrives with the incorrect tires!
My question is; is Coach Net as bad / good as the rest ? Sort of “ you pays your money and takes your pick” OR is there a better choice?
Waiting on a new Newmar, expecting del end of April, some sage advice would be wonderful.
I'm not sure there's a reliable one out there. I've had two different vendors and all is well as long as you don't have a problem, but in my experience (once with a class C and another with our DS) they just call someone local with no idea of their qualifications which anyone could do with a simple google search. The hack they sent when our DS blew the 1 1/2" coolant hose and emptied the cooling system was basically a shade tree graduate* (*maybe) and I ended up doing most of the thinking and work to repair. He did bring the coolant, but that's about all I got for $800 and change.
