We have a 2015 Rockwood Roo 23ikss. Upon switching our refrigerator from electric to gas yesterday, we smelled propane outside. Upon inspection, we discovered that the gas line under the front slide was cracked ( dry rot) and leaking. The stove line also starting to crack. We have a local RV dealer ordering new lines, but it does seem like an unusual and potentially dangerous problem. We are glad we caught the problem at home. Has anyone else experienced this with their Forest River camper? Has Forest River offered any recalls on this? Interested to hear of similar situations and solutions. Thanks

Doesn't matter if it is the rubber propane line is coming from your bottles or running under the trailer, both need to be changed before going bad. In other words, it's a maintenance issue- not a manufacturer or dealer issue.
For example, my FR trailer is coming up on 4 years old. In year 5, I plan to replace all hoses. Unfortunately, this is all part of taking care of a travel trailer or RV.
