2004 fleetwood southwind. , Coleman A/C units. One was not functioning but when turned on it makes humming noise. After watching videos I determined it could be one of the capacitors. I went on top pulled the cover off and with the switch on I spun the fan shaft with my hand and it started running fine and producing cold air.
Then I shut it off and now it’s starting again on its own. I’m thinking it sat a while without using it and maybe it just needed that to put more electricity in the capacitor and now it’s storing it properly? Or maybe the capacitor is starting to fail and maybe I should just replace it anyway. Also there are three of them and I’m not sure which is the start capacitor and maybe just replacing all three is the way to go being they are cheap?
