RV Fire Suppression System

Seeing how a fellow, well know RVer ( Andrew Steele) just lost his New to Him Coach and nearly everything they own, I thought I would post this video
from National Indoor RV Centers on a fire suppression system they install. It's out of my league for now, but those of you that have
1/4 million dollars and more in your RV, this is something I would highly consider. Regardless if you have a MH, 5th wheel, or Tag.

I've seen many vehicle fires, both at work and in our RV. Always looking for the next, best thing to keep vehicle fires under control. Wonder if they could be installed in a wheel well. Last Class A fire we saw appeared to start there.

Proteng again. It's a GAS, folks. The Proteng faq used to state "not to be used in an open compartment," but the faq has disappeared. While it would be great in closed electrical bays, our engines, generators and refrigerators are in compartments open to the outside air. Has anyone tried to put our a fire in open air using halon, halotron or other cag extinguisher?

Foam for open engine, generator etc compartments, foam or cag for closed compartments. NOT living areas.
