Hi Jim: Man that looks like a beautiful place, but is still out of my price range. Are you looking to move farther south for your next place?

On another note, is any of the group getting together on July 4th at your campgrounds?
If you're on FB, here is a site that might work. Affordable and gets you out of the cold.

Hi Jim: Thanks I will check them out.

Well I have been doing some surfing on the Rv Resorts in Florida. I really like St. Lucie West Motorcoach resort. I like those little thatched huts that come with the lot. A water front lot goes between $100 & $150 a day for rental in say April or May. It also seems St. Lucie has a lot to offer as far as things to do.

Also looked at, Golden Palms, Pelican Lake, River bend, Blue water Keys, and one or two others. If any body has any favorites besides the ones I mentioned please give a shout out.

I also have this one. Same park, but not on the river. Right across from the clubhouse, pool, etc. I'm selling this one for $135K.

Note: The pictures of the casita were taken before it was completed, so it has an unfinished look to it.

If I was ever in the market for a lot, I would patiently wait until you put one up for sale. Your lots and their structures always look great!

Wow, Buster! That was a very nice thing to say, and thank you!

HI All: Well its that time of year when the sub zero cold for almost three weeks starts to freeze your brain. And again the thoughts of owning an RV lot in Florida where it is a lot warmer.

Has anyone come across any good deals, if there is such a thing on RV lots for sale in Florida. I just started looking at Luxury RV lots for sale and they go from the mild say $60K to the wild $500K and they seem to be all over the state.

I would like a nice shopping area, and a lot of nice restaurants in the area. Amenities are nice at the resorts but I really don't need the pools and saunas.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Take a Look at Myakka River Motorcoach Resort, Port Charlotte , FL

I wouldn't purchase a lot until I've spent some time there. We've seen big differences in the culture of different parks we've stayed in. How they handle rules enforcement, maintenance, etc. We've seen the gammut from incredibly lax to reasonable to full on Karen. We've seen nice looking parks where the pool is closed more often than a McDonald's ice cream machine. It would be hard to get a feel for how well a particular park fit you until you've experienced it first hand. Beautiful pictures are not a solid indicator.

Well I have been searching all over the web. Some really nice and really expensive places. Has anyone ever been to or stayed at Laguna Caribe RV Resort in south west FL. It seems to be a start up RV resort. Website is a little frustrating, no real pictures of inside the clubhouse and no real pictures of the actual layout of the resort. There seems to be only a handful of lots sold.

Any info appreciated.

I share your pain, HH. I received info on this about 6 weeks ago. Website is vague and their pricing wasn't impressive. At least, I didn't think so. If you would like, I can send you what I have.

Thanks I probably got the same email you did, I got it today. I do know there was a $30K discount on lots for the month of February The regular paved lots normally go for $170K you are correct their website is very vague.

Thanks Neemer: I would like to check them out maybe pay a visit and do a rental end of April or mid May of this year. I all ready saw the pics you sent. But again no pics of the actual sites themselves. I saw a site map that showed only a handful of lots were sold. I got an email from a guy called Cory. I really would like to know how much they charge for a small Tiki Hut on the site. Their Casitas are $270K...ouch. I do like the Tiki Bar near the pool LOL.
