Hi my name I Kimberly, I know this is a longshot but my husband was called for a job from Texas to the Seattle area for about 2 months and the zpace we found fell through. We have been traveling for 3 days and now we cant find a place withing an hour and half from where he is gonna work. Any suggestions? i have called steady for 3 days and no luck

“Seattle” is a pretty big area. Are you looking to be close to downtown or somewhere north, south or east?

Google “Issaquah RV Park.” Have you tried any of the three RV parks that will come up? Nothing fancy, but they are as close to Seattle as you will find. The Seattle area doesn’t have a lot of RV facilities.

Issaquah rv park is full. I have been trying from Everett to Renton but have gone out even further than that and nothing. we have 2 dogs and one is a lab and the private places wont take dogs over 35lbs. Thaank you for the input. I do appreciate it

Unfortunately, it is the peak travel season and lots of folks are out in their RVs. Sorry that you aren’t finding anything. I thought Blue Sky RV Park might have an opening as it is a bit farther out (but still a pretty easy commute to Seattle). Not sure what else to suggest, but I’ll keep my “thinking cap” on.

What resource are you using to locate RV parks in that area? RVParky, GoodSams app, MyPassportAmerica App, Boondocking app, FreeRoam app, or some other iphone app?

We go to several places to research parks (public and private) when planning our needs.

To get you by for a few nights you might consider hitting some casinos and Walmarts in the area until you find something more permanent. Marysville has a casino that offers free camping. Most Walmarts close to Seattle forbid overnight stays, but out further, like Bremerton, or Port Orchard they allow it. If all that fails then you may have to jump around to a couple different truck stops overnight until you can find a site.

At any rate until school starts you may have to be a little creative since you didn't make reservations months out. Good luck.

Put a free ad on craigslist asking for a place on private property. Theres always someone out there that could use a couple spare bucks.
