Searching for a scan tool

I have looked online for a scan tool for my 8.1 Vortec engine in my Workhorse chassis, so far the less expensive models only list cars and pickups, does anyone know of one that lists the Workhorse engines ? I guess the pickup engine should be the same as mine, 496 CI etc.
