I have a 47' Travel trailer 30 amp. I would like to install a second roof a/c but bypass the trailer electric system and plug it into the unused 50 amp plug. Am I crazy?

Not sure but wow, a 47’ TT is freaking huge!

I think it is possible to install and plug into an outlet but you will not need to plug into the 50 amp side only the 20 amp side to just run the new AC. I did it years ago with a pop up added the AC and ran a separate electrical line for just the AC.
