Seeking someone who has done some updates on their vintage Roadtrek

Hey y'all!
So I just bought a 1990 Dodge Ram b250 roadtrek versatile, and I'm getting it ready to do solo-female-vanlife for at least 5 months, possibly forever, we'll see.

But as winter rapidly approaches I'm way behind. And so I am desperate to find someone who has done some updates on their vintage roadtrek, because the information is so scattered. And there's no one local who specializes in them.

I would even be willing to pay you for your time to do a video call with me as I go through all the systems. Particularly the electrical system is confounding me.
As I try and learn this all from scratch I could just really use my hand held a little bit through it, rather than trying to find the right post, the right video, the right manual for every little thing.
(Although I've watched like 15 different videos about it it just doesn't stick the same as going through it myself so I would prefer if the responses were more about someone I could live speak to, over chat or video)
I've already had mechanics put $4,000 of work into the.. under the hood type of stuff, but it's the interior things that I need someone who is familiar with.

Hopefully someone will help you out. I have a Chevy based and seems Dodge is different. In the meantime You tube will be your best bet. In the meantime if you have any RV parks around you can stop and inquire if anyone will help you. Lot's of knowledgeable people in RV parks and many with lots of time on their hands.

I don't have a roadtrek, but! Most components for RVs come from the same suppliers.

It would be great if there were a solid knowledge base for each RV, but that is not likely. Vintage is even harder to connect with such a soul!

With that said, not all is in vane. The knowledge is avaliable just in another form. Look at your project not as a roadtrek project. Rather look at it as a bunch of small projects that have a large base of knowledgeable people who know more about these individual systems, and you will get your jobs done.

The advantage you have over many RV owners here, is a mechanic will work on your van because he sees a van! And the RV specialist sees RV components. You have a big advantage if you will just start looking at this project properly!

Off topic, are you in the mountains yet? Or is there not enough snow yet? I would take any project I had in SLC and not walk, to warmer climate to complete! But that's just me! I am always working on my projects, and Yes even on the road!!!
