A question regarding our 2018 Allegro RED 37ba:

The shower drain wasn't draining well, so I removed the upper perforated cover and tried the baking soda/white vinegar/hot water flush. If anything it got worse. So I thought I'd try the old-school toilet plunger tactic (both dump valves were open through all of this). That didn't help, and it appeared that maybe there's been a bit of reverse suction with the plunger, because I saw something in the drain pipe that I hadn't seen before. I thought maybe it was some obstruction that had somehow gotten into the drain, and so I got some needle nose pliers to try to extract it. It's some kind of rubber sheathing, it appears, and it doesn't want to come all the way out. What am I dealing with here?
