Had bad odor problem when we bought mh 5 yrs ago. Then TankKleen cleaned tank at Sedalia Int Rally and all was good. Rough roads in Ky and the bad odor was back. It looked like something came up from tank and into the shower. The air pressure will actually lift a silicon mat up off shower floor. Newmar says there is no type of 1 way valve to block anything. I can weight the mat down to have a solution. Curious if anyone else has had this air coming into shower and what might cause this.

It's likely a venting issue and/or if it's got a HepVo in place of a conventional p-trap it's apparently not working.

Sounds like the roof vent for the gray tank is clogged. Another thing, I had a smell problem in the rear bath and the p-trap for the washer drain had run dry, put a little water in it and the smell was gone.

Thanks, I didn't think of the roof vent. Newmar says there is no HepVo valve. There is a p trap and we always run water in all sinks and shower before we start driving.

The p-trap in our shower is on the horizontal plane, not sure how effective but limited room under shower. Never had any issues with smell but maybe because we fulltime
