I saw this in a coach when I was at FPU and took forever to find one. When on water conservation whether boondocking or like I am now in sub-freezing temps living off of the fresh tank in between refills this knob is a much easier way to kill the water without fiddling with the shower wand with soapy hands, etc. You can even do this with your eyes closed. Makes for very easy water off/on for conservation.

We have long used something similar; ours being the quarter-turn valve version. They are very handy for reducing water usage in the shower, as well as just being very convenient. In fact, we use them on the shower wands in the S&B as well.
