Based upon some discussion here, I purchased silicone roof treatment for my RV roof. A recent knee injury (and old age) stabs at my confidence to be able to get up there and do a good job re-sealing my roof. So my hope is to get some recommendations from the (few) California guys on this forum for shops that you might recommend to do this job for me using the product I've already spent $400+ for. I will be traveling from the Central Coast (of California) to Chico (CA) the first of June and could leave it anywhere along the way (say US101 to 152 to I5 to 99). Any great shops that you would take your RV to ? Thanks in advance. Blessings

I'm sorry I can't help with shop locations but I'm curious what the silicone roof treatment is.

Do you mean self leveling silicone? Its supposedly good for the life of the RV. If your newmar has a fiberglass roof that is likely what it has along the caps and around the roof accessories etc. It doesnt need to be removed and replaced like that cheap dicor / lap sealant stuff does

Everything I have seen on this site indicates the cheap stuff is what the manufacturers have used.

Main reason is silicone is not paintable.

I looked into it, fiberglass roofs were an extra cost option on Dutch star + higher end models. They were standard with a TPO type roof
