Has anyone replaced the foam topper that came with the original Sleep Number bed with a more comfortable version? If the new one was thicker than the original was there any problem with under cabinet clearances with the slides in?

We ordered a new one from sleep number.
But we have a true king size we brought from our SB house. We've had it for several years.
Granted the mattress gives a little when it goes under the wardrobe cabinets but has never been a problem. Don't know if it will be the same for you since we have different floor plans.
Hope this helps.

I've never replaced the foam topper. I didn't even know you could, but I do use a very poufy, thick mattress cover that I really like.

Thanks Renee,
I am wondering about the mattress pad being longer that our rv king mattress. Any problems with it staying in place? It looks really comfy. Did you get the king size, or California king size? One will be a bit too wide, the other a bit too long. Thanks, Judy

I have the King sized and if fits great. It may be a little wide, but it fits nice and doesn't move around. I love it.

We have the king Sleep Number, but have not replaced the topper. We love the SN, and if ever we need to replace mattress at home, SN it is.

We have a Sleep Number at home also, but it is a better edition. We were thinking of replacing the foam layer over the air bags in the coach to give a bit more cushioned feel, but are going to try a much better mattress pad recommended by ARD. We received it yesterday, and I think it will do the job! Judy

Alright, I secretly bought one of these as @ARD has a knack for these type of things after spending too much of my money on Cariloha towels and sheets and now I have to admit this mattress protector/pad is a MUST HAVE. It is thick, heavy weight, and super comfortable. I initially bought this for the RV and when it came I knew it was a must have and immediately ordered one for the house bed. It is amazing...you need this! GET IT NOW!

Sold me. Trying to figure out where to ship it, since we are on the move.
