Just purchased 2013 Thor Chateau 31F. Slide out motors were missing and had to order correct ones from Thor. After receiving, tried plugging in the motors and they will not operate. Have checked fuses, does not look like any wiring damage and the controls are working. Anyone have any insight on this? Thanks in advance!

With new motors and good fuses (assuming you checked them for continuity and not just visually) it would most likely be a slide controller issue - they might work but just need to be re-set.

What I would do is check and see if you have voltage at the motor when you depress the extend slide button. If no power at the motor starts backtracking to see where you lose power. I also suspect you find the problem with the slide controller but could be a bad wire or connection.

Read up on your slide motor control board and if like mine you can extend and retract the slide at the control board.

Probably best to have helper too since you should also test the switches to see if they are delivering power, and if so, how far along the circuit.

Fuses checked is good. Breaker checked is good. Controller does receive power checked with a test light. (I'm ordering a multimeter tonight) I will have to check at the motor and switches when this meter arrives. Parking break is set. RV is pretty level.

Question:
When the controller is in idle is there an LED that indicates power is on? Is there an indicator for extend/retract when the button is pressed. I have not seen these controllers in working condition. Currently with the generator running there is no light on at all (blinking or constant).

Kitchen slide out initially had the 9 blink code which I reset by pressing the "MODE" button 1 time.
Bedroom slide has never indicated an error code to my knowledge.
Both controllers can be put in Manual Override mode with the green/red flashing LEDs. Nothing will happen when extend/retract is pressed.

Controller is 13398-D0 Lippert

Just a quick thought - is the ignition key off when you are trying to operate the slides? I know this sounds obvious, but sometimes its the simple things that get us. Also beck to re-set, you may have to re-set the amp draw limits in the controllers. This might help: https://liferebooted.net/2018-phaeton-40ih/Schwintek-Slide-Owners-Manual.pdf or this: https://lci-support-doc.s3.amazonaws.com/manuals/slideouts/ccd-0001769.pdf Here’s another https://www.rvtechlibrary.com/exterior/breezeslide.pdf These are all for the B and C models but hopefully the DO operates the same.

Try the key on accessory? Mine will not operate with the ignition on. The re-set I referenced is the “stall force calibration” page 4 of the last link. Hope some of this arm-chair tech stuff helps.

Thank you! I printed these off and I will check with the key in ACC position.
Gizmo: With these manual I'm going to check and see if I can operate at the controller.

Here is what I used to align my slide and shows how to operate the slides at the slide controller.
