If I’m boon docking with my 5th wheel connected to my truck and the front stabilizers down just enough to get some weight off the truck is it ok to open my slides?

To get the frame completely unstressed, all weight should be off the pin! The landing gear on My slide less fifth, must Carry All the weight for the door to work properly. That is the way they were assembled, and the only way things travel as designed!!! That said, there is no reason to disconnect!!!
