We have a 2000 Southwind with 2 slide outs. The larger one in the kitchen/living room is struggling to go out. Coming in it works fine. Any suggestions on how to get this thing working correctly?

Welcome. I have just the basics and I’m sure you have looked. Make sure the track is lubricated. I use lithium grease and of corse the rig level. I’m guessing it’s hydraulic. Make sure nothing is loose under the rig causing it to bind up coming in. Good luck, I’m sure others will add more.

Many have found, including ourselves, that our slide out motors seem to work much better when we leave the engine running while operating them.

Watch the slide operate. Is it straight while going out? If it's not it may be in a bind and needs to be adjusted.
