Hello hope someone can help me out. I have a 2002 southwind 35r class A MH. Both slides do not go out. I have checked the fuses on both controllers and the main fuse is good. Engine is running and parking brake on. I am thinking it might be parking brake cut out switch. I am looking for any help that someone can come up with. It would be much appreciated thank you.

I don’t have any experience with your particular coach, but all the ones I am familiar with will not allow the slides to be extended while the engine is running. Have you tried it with the engine shut off?

Yup...safety system. Can't have engine running to operate slides. One can imagine why ?

My Tiffin 36LA allows slides to be open or closed with engine running. I do this because I want to make sure my batteries have maximum voltage.

in a hurry just unhook and go ...

Here is the user manual instructions

After reading the instructions a number of areas of potential problems, as you mentioned, Parking brake must be set (brake indictor switch must be functional), AND battery must be >13V, the RV must be level (however the RV determines "level"), RV must be in Park (limit switch must be set by shift lever) and the engine running.
