I lived in central Fl for 10 yrs. I had enough of that kind of heat. December & January seem like the only comfortable months so we moved to south central Tennessee. Now it’s reversed. December & January are the uncomfortable months because of cold, but not that bad.
Hang on the next 2 nights.....

When I lived in the central, central Florida (Clermont) area, the summers were brutal. Now on the space coast, it gets humid but we always have a gentle breeze and its much better.

I grew up in rock throwing distance of the Gulf of Mexico in the Florida Panhandle before residential air conditioning was a thing, that was a long time ago but as I recall it was hotter'n a .....'er.

That’s where we lived “Clermont”. 1995-2003. Back then Hwy 50 was a 2 lane country road. We go back quite often as my daughter still live there. Hwy 50 is now 5 lanes and bumper to bumper.

One of the reasons I left. Along with the convoluted path to get to 95. Amazingly Lake county is still giving the green light to housing developments when the infrastructure clearly is not able to handle the traffic

This guy was sunning himself at the park pond yesterday. Just a baby!

61F (16 C) Partial cloud but sunny right now here in Brooking Oregon! Beautiful view here of the Pacific Ocean at Beachfront RV
We have stayed several times on the Chico river in Brookings at an RV park called at River’s edge. Very nice.
