Is the construction in and around I77 Charlotte complete? Should be by now. A number of years ago we went that way all to be stuck in construction in Charlotte. Haven't been back but should be done by now.

I just came down at the end of July. No problems. A bit of traffic through Charlotte, otherwise smoothe sailing. Hopefully, I 40 will be clear by the time I go back up, although the secondary roads were more pleasant than I expected and less bumps.

Heard parts of I40 will be closed until fall of 25 and parts of 26 will be closed for quite a while as well.

We are planning a route north that doesn’t include those next year when we leave Gaffney.
