BLOG Solo travel is booming, but many RVers aren’t ready to go alone

Do it! Several of us here are solo travelers, I could not recommend it more. My biggest fear when I impulse ordered my RV being single with dog is whether it would be a lonely experience. My neighbors had a Class C and they told me no and they were right. It is what you make it but communities like this help you make friends, people are social at campgrounds. Rallies, events, activities, or just enjoy solitude, whatever you prefer, it's an amazing experience. Sometimes the vulnerable becomes enjoyable and the best thing you ever did.

I wonder how it might be different from a single female perspective. I was listening to a podcast on the subject of autonmous vehicles and the presenter said women are more likely to favor Waymo ( driverless taxis) than men, because there are no male drivers. Women say they often feel uncomfortable in Uber's because the male driver's try to chat them up.

I usually drive to the "start" destination and she flies in. She still is working so it works for us. But I also do solo rv travel as life is too short.

If something happened to my wife, yeah then I probably would solo..but not as long as shes around
