Do it! Several of us here are solo travelers, I could not recommend it more. My biggest fear when I impulse ordered my RV being single with dog is whether it would be a lonely experience. My neighbors had a Class C and they told me no and they were right. It is what you make it but communities like this help you make friends, people are social at campgrounds. Rallies, events, activities, or just enjoy solitude, whatever you prefer, it's an amazing experience. Sometimes the vulnerable becomes enjoyable and the best thing you ever did.

I wonder how it might be different from a single female perspective. I was listening to a podcast on the subject of autonmous vehicles and the presenter said women are more likely to favor Waymo ( driverless taxis) than men, because there are no male drivers. Women say they often feel uncomfortable in Uber's because the male driver's try to chat them up.

If something happened to my wife, yeah then I probably would solo..but not as long as shes around

I solo. It's not by choice though. I went places with My better half, and couldn't have been more thrilled. Those same places today are to remote.

It's not about difficulty, rather the lack of a kindred soul.

I am traveling with a small group this year and it is lacking also. Coordination is difficult when working with other travelers, and I'm thinking if given a graceful out I will return to solo status.

If you're thinking why worry about the rest, just part ways. It is more difficult than that. These people are the ones that feel more secure traveling with someone they feel is more competent than they believe they are. They would still do it solo but worry to a point of health issues.

Basically I have been elected the wagon master, and that's ok when you're talking a single family, but My personality bucks against being a convoy leader.

Anyhow, with statistics showing 48% of men are choosing to for go traditional relationships, I see a future leaning towards Solo travel.

I am not sure I see the quandary. If someone is single and living alone, what abode you choose for any given night shouldn't be a concern.

But it is. Mostly because RV Life style has uncertainty brick and stick don't.
