Just for my word of mouth friends, I've been building 3-stage filter systems and bundling them with a double softener tank for several years.

Blu looks good and I've been in contact and will be testing their unit as a comparison to what I've been building.

My systems have been running around $1200 shipped, and blu has small systems that are the similar 3-stage and softener that run around $1250 and up.

They have some nice features but haven't got my hands on one of their unit; we've just been too busy.

I built my own just like this. I have the 3 filters in a low profile storage tub. It holds my hoses, PRV, etc. The filters stay in the tub, with openings to connect the hoses. Keeps the filters out of sight and out of the dirt.

It's interesting most of us have no filtration on the water coming into our S&B other than maybe a filter in the frig if it has a water dispenser yet the RV has 22 filters, ultraviolet light, a bug killer, flavorizer, softener, and who knows what else!

Emphasis: "most"

I agree Neal, but I don't drink the water at home either. I have a 3 stage ClearSource with extra filters setting on my garage floor right now, never put water thru it. I use a single filter cartridge to keep debris out of my lines and buy water on the road. No room for the big unit. For sale on FB marketplace for $300 and no takers in 2 weeks.

I have the on the go softener and the dual filter set up.. They work fine but it would be nice to make setups easier. One thing I did like about the Ventana 4369, due to the rear radiator, it had that extra side storage and the on the go and filter fit perfectly there.
When I get the DS I am not sure where they will be stored. The available ds drivers side storage may lack the height. Questions I ponder since I cannot measure the compartment height without a coach

I store my DI rinse (half size one) and also OTG water softener in that aft left storage bay we get with no side radiator. I know you're not going Lithium (yet) but if you ever do, your battery compartment becomes another storage option with lots of space created (depending on how many batteries you go with).

I have a dual canister house filter system installed in my wetbay, sediment and carbon, I'm fine with that. I ate all kinds of crap in Air Force land survival training, I'm not worried about squigglies in my water :)

I am with you on rv drinking water but using ice in my drinks is always nice. The question is you can have all the filters and decontamination you want but the fresh tank must be kept clean or the purpose of all the equipment is lost

Most think I over filter My water. Heck I use a carbon block filter when I draw my bath water! I figure My biggest organ is My skin, and chlorine is poison removed by carbon.

That said, what I like about this unit is the stainless filter bowls. Very important if you consider micro plastic contamination. Now if they could just change the filter design itself so it wouldn't be a contributing material source!

I'm not a tree hugger but I am aware of the potential issues from all the plastic water bottles in the world from people that won't drink tap water, filtered or not. While yeah the filter canisters may be stainless, my fresh tank is not and I don't want to think of the delightful biology experiments sitting on the bottom of the fresh tank.

Just pointin out what I liked about them thar toys

I avoided making observations about the size thing. You know! Bigger is better as long as you can find a place to put it.

That's only important if you knew how big My system is.
