I don't mind paying the price when I want to use the service. I have no need to pay for service that is disconnected in storage containers. I'm effectively paying for cellular plans just to keep them alive, so not much different. I don't need those services either, but they can't be cancelled and reactivated without risk of a plan change. But personally I will only use Starlink when cellular does not work well in a location simply for what I need to pay to maintain vs. don't use.

Getting a performance unit on the new coach. I will have to switch my plan from my gen 3. I guess I will have to message them. Still worth the usage ability as I no longer need DISH or a tv plan. I get the tv plan free from Spectrum.

Thanks @redbaron

Maybe a little information should have been shared.

I have minimal phone service, that's all I require. I use Star Link on standby mode to watch some YouTube videos, I am not bothered by some buffering. I have an Internet phone number, and my phone has Internet calling available as well. When the Star Link is on, my phone uses that, and standby service handles that need.

I could pay over 100 for cell phones to stay connected. Or I can pay 35 for minimum cell service, and keep Star Link in standby to fill the gap.

Next month I will gladly pay the total 45 to be comfortably connected while the weekend warriors babysit the kids with the weekends diminished cell service.

As stated before! I am cheap!

Yesterday I changed from Roam Unlimited for $165/mo to the new 300GB plan for $80. Saves $85 a month. This morning I got the notification that the unlimited plan is s being increased to $175. Woohoo…now I’m saving $95! I love how I think somtimes, even if it’s wrong.
