Hello...I have an older 29' puma we used after Hurricane Michael during rebuilding and I have 120 going to it. I would like to use the 12 volt onboard system, but without batteries. I'm thinking a step down voltage transformer might do the trick, tying into the circuit panel dc side. Anyone ever try this? Thanks in advance.

A standard converter used in trailers will supply regulated 12vdc without a battery connected.

Thanks for the reply. That’s what I thought too. After the hurricane, we were flooded, 14 inches water in the trailer. When I reconnected to shore, electric bill tripled! I replaced the converter, but that didn't change anything so I ran a drop cord and just used tv, fan, Lights, etc and got by.
