It's tough to know what you don't know. If all you are going to do is leave it set up, then floor plan and amenities are your driver. However, the few trips you mention what type of camping venue will you use? Check with then to see if your new rig is able to use those venues. I'm not making social comment here, or advocating either way. Just be aware that not all RV resorts are open to the Super C rigs yet. I have read people complain about this, and be surprised when they tried to use a venue and were refuse. May be important to you, or not be.
 
My suggestion if you are not going to put many miles on the RV consider a tow behind. Powered units, especially Diesel, do not like to sit.
You will end up having all sorts of issues from lack of use.
You will end up being much happier with a tow behind rather than a powered unit.
 
Thank you everyone for all your replies and suggestions. We have re-evaluated and placed an order for a Supreme Aire 4573 from Transwest. We are so excited to enter the RV experience. Transwest was fantastic and I cant say enough good things about the buying experience they provided.
 
congrats on your Supreme Aire order!! we bought our Super Star 4051 from Transwest in Frederick and couldn't be happier!! we need to start a Newmar Super C group/rally!!
 
From what I remember the DS, VT and KS were able to get bigger holding tanks in the '20 model year because the basement floor got 2" closer to the ground to match the highline with the taller basement.
 
Wanted so share my thoughts based on real world experience on some of the comments..

loss of cab area - this is not the case in the super star as the two captains chairs swing around and are considered part of the living area space.. not sure why that was confusing to some..

HP - our 2021 4051 has 350HP and tows my F250 like nothing is back there. we keep up with the trucks and that is the main goal is not to be the slow one on the road..

Grey/Black tank storage - 60 grey/40black and 150 fresh.. unless you are gonna dry camp for 5 days, this is sufficient as we have dry camped in the infield at Talladega and had no issues..

Class A only resorts/parks - we haven't come across any issues with this and to be honest, the parks/resorts that are A class only are not ones we would stay at anyway.. The Newmar Super C's present themselves better than a large percentage of Class A units out there.. enough said there lol.

One thing that was told to me by another Super C owner is this.. A Class A looks great parked, but a Super C drives great and looks great parked.. so if you are going to log ALOT of miles like we do, drive them both on the same roads, same conditions and the decide... our choice was the SuperC.

We test drove and researched for two years before we pulled the trigger on our coach and never looked back..
 
Loved loved loved my Super C Seneca. They are two different drives. The super C is more athletic in every way. you can figure the size on your own. Super c is a little more firm. Didn’t bother us. My only real reason for going DP was the sound Inside. I have two kids. One is only two. With the motor up front, I could not hear them.… That was a lot of my reasoning.… the other real note of a super c is that you have the motor in front if God forbid a crash. You will enjoy it. And if you don’t, current market is red hot on Super C and you can just trade on a class A. :)
 
We love our super C (Renegade). Each super c can be different in sound levels and build. Generally super c will have more cabin noise compared to a DP and generally a super C will ride firmer than a DP.

But we like the safety aspect of the Super C, ease of maintenance, lower cost and easier to find maintenance on the engine/chassis. Also drives really nice.

Windshield was mentioned. We had a crack on the windshield during this past year. Didn’t bother filing a claim with insurance as the total cost for windshield and labor was $250 to be replaced at our campsite.

As others have said, depending on the configuration you can tow quite a bit (we are rated for 30,000 pound towing capacity with 5,000 pound tongue weight).

DEF tanks are right next to the diesel tank, very easy to fill without requiring you to move the coach between diesel and DEF.

We love our super C.
