Good morning! New GD owner (Reflection 150 series 5th wheel), question about the pin box. I've read that short(er) beds require sliding hitch, but the swivel pinbox seems to negate the need for that. Trying to plan my set up properly. Wondering if these function well? Or better to fix the pinbox and get slider (higher cost?)?

And, another general 5th wheel question... are "premium" hitches worth to reduce/eliminate bucking/chatter?

Hey squidvicious, pulled a 35 ft 5er with a Ram 3500 and the 6'4" box for 6 years with a regular 5th wheel hitch "no slider" without incident. I did upgrade to a Lippert Air Ride pin box, which I really liked. Not sure if this helps in anyway but it is what we did. Enjoy the new 5er.
