Thanks TJ,
If the cable idea fails, I will go wireless. Now I will shop for motivation ?

From what I read in this article, it is very likely that the existing HDMI cable may work for basic HD TV. No gaming etc.

4K HDMI cables (are nonsense)

here is the key:
. Most cables purchased after 2009 are High Speed and will pass a 4K signal to your screen.

I couldn’t understand initially why Newmar would zip tie the cable, but now knowing that your AV cabinet it above the driver (weird?) I can kind of understand why they might.

that in mind, the best I could think of other than TJ’s wireless HDMI is an endoscope with a clipper attachment. Seems like the existing cable would probably work fine though.

Don't worry about the HDMI cable. An improved TV will look great. You can connect an Apple TV to it directly via your own HDMI cable if you wish to get real 4K streams assuming you have a good enough connection. You're likely not getting 4K over satellite or OTA so where is your 4K source coming from requiring any different cabling?

You are right Neal. Turns out, I have to get from Dish a 4K receiver also for about $140.
I don’t think any wifi or Cel Service while traveling is good enough for 4K?

I'm not aware of DISH or any other SAT service offering 4K. That's news to me. I didn't think SAT's could handle that bandwidth.

Yes, WiFi/Cell can do 4K fine but it's a lot of data. If you get an Apple TV 4K like I have which is all streaming you can go to YouTube and find 4K videos and enjoy them. 1080p is fine, you likely will not realize a difference in 4K unless you are a home theater nut.

Wow. You guys don't even let stuff get old, before you start replacing. I should hang out at your trash heap. Better than Best Buy.?
