Can't say this happened when I had my Ventana in for service, but when I picked it up, I turned the dash temperature control knob to adjust the temperature and it fell off in my hand. I've looked on line, inquired at Guaranty in Oregon and been to numerous auto parts stores to find a new knob. No luck. Anyone have any ideas? It's very difficult to confirm the part will fit when potential ones are found on Amazon etc...I bought a set that I thought might work from an auto parts store and it doesn't work (maybe smaller opening on back). I am going to break down and call Newmar tomorrow but I'm thinking they don't sell the individual knobs. I found the part number for the whole dash control panel but nothing for an individual knob. Also tried to google just "Evans dash control knob" and can't really find what I think I need...ideas from smarter people than me needed....TIA

Try a google search for Evens Tempcon. Lots of hits come up including the one below that lists knobs.

THANK YOU! Amazing what one word difference can make in a search (I didn't use "Tempcon"). Looking at the different ones and the info on Newgle/comnet for the control box itself, I think I narrowed down the correct one (RV219512) so I ordered one through the link you supplied. I did try to find it on any other site and Amazon because their shipping is ridicules but no luck. Figured would still be cheaper than buying from the factory even if they have it. I'm headed out on a trip tomorrow so hopefully will arrive by the time I get home and I'll update if it actually fits/works. Thanks again!

Hi Sherry,

Hope you found the correct one. I suspect most are the same for different coach models. It appears all 3 on our DS are the exact same knob. Your are correct that exact search terms make the difference when searching

That’s where I’ve bought parts… knob, filter/drier, TXV. They got the parts! :)
