Many of us are traveling with dogs. When we arrive at the RV site, I will get out to look the site over. The dogs are also excited and will jump on the drivers chair to see what I am doing. At least twice when I came back I noticed that I had the transmission in gear, very scary, and I am sure that one of the dogs had stepped on the shift selector. I do not have video proof but you should believe me. Luckily the parking brakes are still very good.
Can you imagine what would happen if the dog would push the parking brake knob? I have attached an example. ?
I now have a small disk (3D print) that will fit behind the parking brake knob and I always will put it in place when I pull the parking brakes.
What are you doing to prevent this when you are traveling with dogs.
