I didn’t want to fill up in Hatteras as I had a half tank and was only driving 150 miles or so. Thinking VA Beach would have more options. Well, it does but no truck stops or lanes that I can find and the next truck stop is near my destination. Farther than my now 1/4 tank will get me. So what do I do?
Asked Google and it led me to Trucker-path which is nice but doesn’t really help me find stations with truck lanes. Kroger caught my attention so my morning mission was a top secret reconnaissance mission to survey stations. Yep, Kroger will work. Back to base.
Fun fun when you have to figure out where you can get in and get out and not add accessories to your coach or toad. Nearly T-boned someone cutting across traffic. Which reminded me how bad it would be to have an accident away from home and lose access to your toad and have to sort that out.

Meanwhile super sites are amazing at Holiday Trav-L-Park in VA beach. Used to be an annual visit but the brat factor became too much. After Labor Day is key and only 75/night.
