The trip from ****

Wow1 What a week. Got home from a short trip last Sunday. Backed in, plugged in, unloaded and went to bed. Checked Monday morning and all was good. Stuck my head in the door Tuesday morning and no AC. My CCC2 would not power up at all. Checked voltages, 12v and 110. Had everything to make the ac work up on the roof. Nothing. My front ac has been getting weak, so after testing I ran to OKC and bought a freshjet5. Drop in replacement(HaHa). Got it mounted Wednesday night and seemed to be working. Well it was working, but the CCC2 didn't see it to control it. It runs all the time. As I was taking it to the shop to mount the ac I realized my driver window wouldn't go down. Then I notice my rear view camera wasn't working. Okay, inconveniences I could live with just running to Stillwater for the football game. I get to Stillwater and the HWH auto leveling panel is dead. The pump ran and put the slide out just fine. So I manually leveled the coach enough to get through the weekend. On the trip home, I tried to adjust my passenger side mirror and the power mirrors are dead. I checked every fuse that I know about on the coach with an ohmmeter and they are good. The ones in the battery bay, the ones in the electric bay, the ones in the mid ship bathroom, and the ones in the bay below the driver. I am thinking now that maybe it is a wire loom that has a loose connection. Right now, all the power loss seems to be right around the driver cockpit. A two man tent in the back a wore out Dodge pickup is looking really good right now.

Wow. No fun for sure. I wonder if you have a bad house battery that is causing odd electrical issues?

I haven't load tested batteries, but the problems are there when I am plugged in as well. The power management system shows good voltage and amperage. In digging through the HWH diagnostics section, there is a small red light on the backside of the touch panel. If it is on, flashing or solid, it says to replace the touch screen. Maybe I got some kind of voltage spike that has fried some things. More research to follow.

Does KiB have any type of diagnostics that can determine if something is failed in its chain? I recall @Neemer having a lightning strike or something taking out one of his components?

I did have a KiB issue caused by a power surge, but my symptoms were different than what is being described.

About the only thing I can offer is advice to check your grounds. In my previous motorhome, 100% of electrical issues it had were from corroded grounds.

Neemer, that is exactly what I came up with while having breakfast. Pa in law had an alternator and starter when me and the bride got married. He always said check the grounds (all of them) especially if it seemed odd.

Okay, one thing I hadn't checked. With the key in accessory or run position I don't have power to the J9 post on the panel in the electric bay. I jumpered across to the J10 battery post and the backup camera and the window work. I am on hold now with customer service to see if/where the pink wire comes from and is it fused.
