This is my 3rd RV I have had Ford, Dodge, now a Chev 454! I am recent widowed (Aug 2020)! I'm going to hit the road again. I have already been twice over a year on the road!

We had such a active life! Two three dances a week! A overnight stay at a casino! Travel every other month! I was surprised to have 443 days at sea with the Cruise lines! We took out the motor home, a year latter 14000 miles we parked it! We never put our suit cases away! A bedroom was dedicated to our travels for the last ten years. Even in the final days Betty would see the luggage and ask where we were going! Did she have the tickets or me!! I finally had to put them away! It hurt so much to have her ask!

But I need some help hitting the road again! I got one estimate for the windshield and it cost more than my rig!

Need Driver side windshield
Winnebago Chieftain WCN25RC #1gbjp37w2k3329364
07/1989 Chev 7.4L V8 4bbl 454 One Ton

Driver windshield roughly 41 inches by 44 inches
Seems close to a flat piece of glass?
Need Driver side windshield below outside corner information

See ya on the road god willing!

Dennis, I’m so sorry for your loss and I hope you got your windshield fixed and you are out having nice travels.

I just came across your post so I do apologize for my late condolences.

My condolences @Dennis McNett. I'm glad to hear you're hitting the road and there are many great friends out there waiting to hang out with you. I hope the windshield situation works out, keep hunting. Duncan insurance handled mine, maybe they can point you to the right people?

@Dennis McNett, we send our prayers out to you in your recent loss. I know RV windshields are expensive, but have no idea just how expensive. Can you give me a ballpark number?

Have you tried these folks?

Sorry to hear of your loss, Dennis. I cannot imagine. May God be with you and comfort you.

Gee, let me try this again. I have the same general problem, except both sides were busted out by pre-teen kids. Insurance will not cover it and the parents are not to be found. Anyone mention trying to get used glass? Single Grandma, looking for alternative solution.

Dennis, very sorry for your loss! Best of luck getting back out on the road! Plenty of us our there to help you celebrate the great life you guys shared together! Keep networking, someone will have a better solution.

Regards,
J

Here is 2 salvage companies with RVs
Colaw Salvage 877-548-2125
Bontrager’s RV Surplus 866-483-7017

I know someone with a older coach (2000) had success using RV Glass Solutions, not sure what final cost was.

Good luck.
