This is killing me

Unfortunately, these things require time and attention. I think many who buy them don’t realize the effort necessary for upkeep, or don’t have the time, money or energy for such. On the other hand, I see houses where the owners are just to old, sick or out of money and let the house go to shambles. I hope I never get to that stage.

WhenI was young I used to wonder about the big DP’s I would occasionally see sitting in people’s driveway. It appeared that it sat for 50 or so weeks a year and maybe got used a few weekends or a few weeks and that was it. It seemed to me a big investment for so little use. But what do I know. Perhaps for them some of the experience was better than none.

There was a Monaco parked near here for years. It looked like they never used it anymore. This winter a tree fell on it and now it is gone. Sad.
