I previously owned a Vogue PrimaVista 40 pusher. Loved it. Also lived aboard a boat for a while, so I'm pretty familiar with and capable of repair and maintenance of most systems. I'm looking for a used class a 40ft pusher again. Might want to pull a car trailer some too. What do you experts think the best deals, most reliable, best price retention units are out there for around $100k?
  1. I like dry camping capabilities
    - like large fresh water tanks
    - solar is desired
    -good genset
  2. It's only me with a couple small kids on special occasions
  3. It will be driven, not just parked.
A few I kinda liked:
and my fav so far: https://www.rvtrader.com/listing/2001-Country-Coach-AFFINITY-42-5029035330

I’d stay away from Thor. Very poor build quality. The Country Coach is older but you will be hard pressed to find a better built coach. If you can find one a few years newer that can work in your budget all the better

A lot of expensive, quality upgrades on the Country Coach. The CC build quality in general is far superior to anything from Thor or Winebago. If I was shopping, the CC would be a serious contender!

I agree with the above. You'll probably spend a similar amount of time on maintenance, but the build quality of a Country Coach will make living in it and driving it so much nicer. The only downside may be finding good spots to dry camp in something that big. Good luck in your hunt.

If all you do is dry camp, older is great. Remember there are such thing as age limits in most parks.

A friend of mine found a beautiful America coach form an old timer that just was able to use anymore for 25K....has had for 2 yr and has had no problems. There out there if your not in a rush.
