Question Tint vs Magna Shade

Here in FL tint on windshield requires a permit, which my dermatologist was happy to sign.
Otherwise you can tint the windshield down to the AS1 line only.
Look at the perimeter of the windshield you will see that line in small print. Passenger side.

How does this play in other states like VA that don't allow tint? I've seen the po-po in rest areas in North Carolina that seem to prey on truckers and writing tickets for things. Haven't seen that anywhere else thankfully but what's the status of window tint across the US?

Typically the rules of the state of registration rule. You may get a ticket but court would / should have to dismiss it.
Might need local representation if the court is a stickler.
