Tire covers for storage

I'm new to storing a camper but do the tire covers really help the tire dry rot,or would i be just as good using a product for tire care,I'm thinking I need to protect the insides of the tires as well as the outside.

Covers are the best way to protect the tires as they block all the bad rays.

I use the magneshade tire shades. I used to use leather ones that went over the tire but my concern is it traps moisture and is not good for anything within.

Hard to find anyone outside the rv group that ever bothers to cover tires. I have seen hundreds of large farm produce haulers sit in the sun for months year after year. Never once have I seen tire covers.

Yep they keep your polished aluminum rims in nice shape. Even sitting in storage they can get grungy with dirt & dust and even spider webs.

The covers might make you feel better but they don't do anything to protect the tires.

I use tire covers and I park on honey comb type rubber matts. I park on gravel and I figure the matts keep tires off the ground( I guess the gravel helps as well). For sure if you park on the ground you need something to park on. My opinion.
