there is that, but then you are not the average consumer either. My son did the same thing when he tired of OE spec trailer tires failing on his 5’er.
That obvious???
 
I guess what I am reading is inflate to the max and watch the tread wear and adjust from there? Is that a safe statement?

I think it best to load up equipment and one time weigh. Then use the chart.. about once a year weight to see if you're adding weight. Adjust accordingly. It's hard putting rubber back on the tire, and trailer tires really do have a short life.

If they are not to busy and the scale is designed for it, weight side to side!

Someone pitch in here with the post on how to do that!!!
 
I have read that you scale the axles then reweigh with one side off the side of the scale. Interpolate the results.
