We got hooked on the huckleberry ice cream to the point of writing HEB, our local large chain grocer, asking if they could get it—no luck, so we're stuck with Blue Bell—the perils of living in a third-world state.

We get the tillamook huckleberry in Texas on rare occasions at the Brookshire. They also own the SuperOne brand in the north west. Started as a Texas grocery chain that had expanded. The stock only available when they are bringing in salmon and other frozen products from the northwest.

Now I am regretting not trying huckleberry when we were in Glacier NP area.
Guess I need to put GNP back on the list now just for the huckleberry.

I may have to order more now thanks to y'all!

We only have one Brookshire BROS no Brookshires in our area.

It's available in several places in the NW. Our first introduction was at the 7th Calvary RV Park near the Little Bighorn Battlefield. They gave us ice cream on arrival, and we both chose the huckleberry sandwich. We stopped on the way out the next morning and purchased all they had.

View attachment 28587Today at our local Costco. Had no idea they carried DEF
Suggestion of not buying from open boxes. I've read people (sick) returning "product" after using and filling with water..... I always buy from truck stops

I have seen those stories too...and they are often in my mind, but do we know they really happened? Or is it an urban legend?

Maybe we start another thread for this topic...don't want to derail this one.

Sorry.... saw the open DEF box and had to post

Slowed down for the weekend, but brutally hot. Put the chairs out but sat in them for only a few minutes.
Luckily the view out the coach front window was great where we could still enjoy cool a/c.

Thank you for resuming pictures - love it!

Had a small storm cell go through for about an hour this morning. Almost needed to use the coach as an ark 😊

Luckily the tree limb that came down was on the swingset and not someone’s RV.
