I have a small Sunlite MJ13 and I am having issues clearing the toilet drain. There is a 90 deg elbow just below the toilet and there has a second elbow that apparently drops into black tank. I try not to use this toilet as we stay usually somewhere with facilities.

I went to WalMart and bought an inexpensive snake. It is too flimsy to make the turns. What other options to clear paper in the piping. I am staying in the camper for work and I have a couple of those little black balloons you put on a water hose and they swell up and build pressure. I am not sure of that is the solution or not.

Any suggestions?

Previosly when we've had clogs from too much paper and not enough water, I have found an old fashioned plunger is very effective at moving the blockage along. Have plenty of water in the bowl when you start to "plunge" and generally the pressure from the plunger and water in the bowl will work.

As a preventive...make certain you always have plenty of water in your toilet bowl before you flush, and even then run water for several seconds to keep things from blocking.

I think you've got a 33-gallon black tank on your trailer, so even if you use a full gallon per flush, you've got 30+ flushes before you fill it up.

Lack of water is the probable cause. I find the water pressure to be low when adding water to bowl....
