What is the best TPMS system going nowadays? Need to replace my six-year-old system. Looking for the style that just screw on the valve stem. Need to cover 35 foot motorhome +20 foot trailer 10 sensor total. Probably need a signal booster. Any recommendations greatly appreciated.
We used an EEZ RV TPMS system, but other brands include TireMinder and 507 Series. I'd skip the flow through sensors. Just a problem waiting to happen.
Also, if not already equipped you might consider metal tire valves.
Find one that has pass through valve. Otherwise, you'll loose air installing and have no way to check pressure without removing the caps.
That said, I have a 6 tire set of the cap style I'll sell CHEAP.
We use the screw on cap type (not pass thru).
After a few times verifying the sensors were correct, I only verify them once a year. Not a big deal in my opinion to deal with the short air loss once a year. And I would rather deal with that than the extra weight of a pass thru making extra stress on the valve stems.
We use the TST 507 system.
