Anyone use an inexpensive trailer caddy to get a trailer into a side yard that backing up is just too tight? I have seen them from $300 to $3000. We are getting a new 20 foot Geopro FBS and it fit in a level space on the property easily but do not want to really back it in with the truck
At one time, back in the day, Once long long ago. I purchased a 30ft pull trailer that had been in the persons back yard being used as a guest house. Trees had grown much larger than when the trailer was placed in it's resting place. Fence was put around the back yard. Everything became an obstacle over the years. To overcome the problems without cutting the thing out of the yard I put a hitch on the front of my truck on the passenger side so I could see around the trailer.
I used that hitch more times than I ever thought I would when I put it on. In my opinion a hitch on front of a truck is the best solution for tight spots.
