Wanted to get every ones wonderful incite before I proceed.
Wife and I are placing our 22 Foot TT on a lot next week then a few weeks later adding on a covered screened in deck to the front. Once that is done the travel trailer will not be removed and when/if its sold down the road will remain on the lot. My question is what is the best way to stabilize the camper. We used the 4 corner jacks and stabilization blocks last year when we towed it around. Obviously this situation is different and I'd like to remove/eliminate as much movement as I can, especially since the deck will rest as close as possible on the front.
My initial thought was cinder blocks as close to the jacks as possible to give it something very solid to "rest" against but then I thought about the tires. Someone suggested adding cinder blocks in place of the tires as a 5th and 6th point of contact for stabilization. I could see where over time the tires could lose air or dry rot causing the trailer to slowly lower putting unneeded stress on the frame where the jacks attach.
What are some options?
