Thanks for the link, @sheridany; very interesting information. You have contributed to the further education of a "dinosaur."
In checking the specs for the Miele 24" washer and ventless dryer units, they each draw 15A @ 120VAC. That would mean having two 20A outlets on different circuits to prevent the accidental 30A overload if both ran at the same time. Otherwise, they seem like excellent units.Great thread, and timely as well. I just bought a condo (to add to my rental portfolio) and the rules prohibit a washer/dryer in the unit. Actually, they prohibit a vent going through the wall, so therefor they say you can't have a washer/dryer.
A ventless dryer looks like just the ticket!
Ideally, they would be able to put them on different legs of the 50A feed. It ill be interesting to see if Newmar will do that. Now comes the question, can Newmar wire in outlets on different circuits as a special?
Yes, I see that.In checking the specs for the Miele 24" washer and ventless dryer units, they each draw 15A @ 120VAC. That would mean having two 20A outlets on different circuits to prevent the accidental 30A overload if both ran at the same time. Otherwise, they seem like excellent units.
