How do you get the rainwater off of your slide outs before you bring them in so you don't get water inside your motorhome or fifth wheels

Welcome to RVForums @Mbubba99. Your slides should have gaskets that squeegee them off as they come in. The alternative is to take it out of level so the water runs off then retract them. Some RV's will also have slide toppers to form a ramp for the water.

I get lots of water collecting on my full wall slide. If I don’t dump it before retracting, the fabric gets pulled inside with all the water. Big mess. The seals do not help in my case?
That’s why after rain, I lower the front to dump the water. It works.
Newer coaches have more angle on the covers to shed the water. Ours are almost horizontal?
