Question Water pump inop 2024 DutchStar

This morning the water pump went silent. Appears to have power as the light works when turned on. Fresh Tank is full.
Thoughts?

We were in Waterloo any beat Seneca NY.

I assume you're not connected to city water?

You can try cycling 12V, then don't forget to turn the pump on again as it defaults to OFF most likely.

It could be the pump, the water pump controller or your fancy KiB which I'm not familiar with.

The pump is a simple 12V setup so you could bypass the controller and just attach a 12V hot and negative and see if the pump works or not. I carry a spare pump, not something I want to be without, and also a spare water pump controller.

you can try unplugging the pump controller or maybe just shutting of the salesman switch for a minute and then back on.. some times those controllers loose their minds

did you check for 12 volts at the pump, if it's there... Yep pump time

I used to be a fan of the REMCO Aquajet ARV but the last one within a month has been warrantied out 1 and the new one is not like the old ones. I would try another brand

I've been using REMCO's for years, love them and now with it installed properly I can't believe how quiet it is.

But it would be easiest for you to replace it with what you have so the bolts line up, and get a spare!

As an intermediate step, purchased a water pressure regulator for city water. First try was a straight inline reducer which took pressure too low, Amazon to the rescue. Purchased an adjustable regulator which works much better allowing adjustments to a more reasonable 55 psi.

Will be at Newmar Service on Monday. Will try to get a tech to install a new water pump. Luckily in stock at parts counter there.

There are two versions of the reducer, you probably bought the wrong one. I use the 50-55 psi version, works great. I've been through far too many of the ones with gauges that work terrible, for me at least.

I but the hose between the reel and the house filter, i.e. along the side panel and installed it inline and never looked back. Works great.

If you want to install a reducer inline like I did, you need something like this for the fittings that go on each side. Researched my order history, not sure what I used but I see I bought these and this should work.
