Looks like my old water pump is close to pooping out. I think it might be a good time to put a new one in and keep the old one as a spare.
I like water pressure so......

What brand would y'all recommend?

I just installed this one along with the Remco accumulator tank. Search the forum for Remco if desired.

Neal, which tank did you buy? My pump cycles when at low flow conditions, I'm assuming that will correct it.

Yes, that's what the accumulator resolves and also has other benefits prolonging the life of the water pump, etc. as I understand it. Below is the tank, you'll need fittings and hose to integrate it, not a hard job. YouTube university has a lot of good info.

Here's my concern;
  • Positive shut-off at 75-85 psi, to keep up with today's sophisticated filtration systems and extensive plumbing systems; ES delivers a 3.5 gallon per minute flow rate. Liquid Temperature- 140°F (60°C) Max
It's always been my understanding that Max pressure should be about 60 psi.
Would "75-85 psi be to much and create leaking?

I'm not seeing that on the REMCO site or manual. 65 psi is what I see.

That's interesting, what I copied was from the actual Amazon page. Amazon

The actual spec from Remco of 65 would be fine.

Ok, now I've been shamed into adding an accumulator. Went out to the coach, figured what I had to do to make it fit, remounted the pump and now waiting for the tank to show up. Should be here Friday just in time for our tune up trip on Monday. I went with a cheaper unit cause, you know, I'm cheap. :cool: Amazon.com
