Filled my fresh water tank and switched on the pump. The pump would run but had low water pressure and acted like there was air in the lines. Also it never seemed to build pressure to shut pump off. I have never had this problem before not sure if it is the pump or a line problem. Thanks

Have you checked and cleaned the filter just at the pump's inlet?
Also, possible culprit is faucet strainers.

I was getting concerned my pump wasn't shutting off when I commissioned the system yesterday. Ultimately I needed to prime all the faucets until water flowed freely and it could build the pressure to shut off.

That kind of flow,if it were a leak would have water pouring out the bottom of the rig.

No water would indicate an air leak on the inlet side, plugged strainer, or a bad valve also on the inlet side.

You haven't posted make model year of the RV. Lots of different systems.

On my coach, if i don't change the fresh water intake mode, I get exactly what you have described. Once I have set it for dry camping all works well.
