I am planning a trip to Yellowstone in early June. I am staying several days in West Yellowstone, then I have 3 days at Fishing Bridge RV park, in the park. I am using the Good Sam trip planner and to get from West Yellowstone to Fishing Bridge with a RV selected, it routes me all the way to the South entrance, a 5 hour drive. If I select a car only the route goes into the west Entrance then the Grand Loop road, only 56 miles. I am pulling a 30 footer and would like to know is the Grand Loop road from the west entrance ok to use, or do I really need to go all that way around?

After Fishing Bridge we are going to Jackson.

I have done the west entreance to south entrance (and fishing bridge) every year since 2008 in my Class A towing. You will have no problem.
