Just back from a 10 day gig at Mustang Island St. Pk. in Corpus Christi. We're in a not too frequently used 32' Jayco Alante with one 15k btu rooftop air. I'd a few years back done all the mods to the plenum, made reflectex covers for the cockpit windows and the rear wall window, made curtains to separate the cockpit from the living area, etc. Even with the afternoon temps hovering from the mid 80's to low 90's.( a cold front in Texas) the one a/c struggled to keep up, especially mid afternoon on. If I keep this MH I imagine I'm going to add a sepately wired mini split at some point. You live and learn however, in the future I would never consider a 30 amp ( pms or not) and never, ever a unit with only the one a/c.
And oh yeah, never leave your blackened Red Snapper filets outside on the grill while you run inside for paper towels. Came back out and one filet was missing, 8 or 10 Seagulls were standing around and when I accused the big one he just said "You talking to me".
